Bishop Hiram C. Charles
Pastor Charles was first ordained as an Elder in the year 1991 and started The Victory in Christ​ Revival Ministry. He presided there for many years prior to being introduced to the saints of Evanston, Illinois in 1994, by Bishop Leslie J. Barnes and Bishop Sidney Alexander Dunn. He was officially installed the Pastor of Bethel United Ministries Inc., on November 16, 2002, at the official dedication of the new sanctuary by Bishop Leslie J. Barnes, the Overseer of the Ministry.
Under his leadership and the guidance of Almighty God the ministry has grown tremendously. His inspiration and vision has brought significant influence into the lives of hundreds of people, who have been touched by the anointing that has been bestowed upon him in ministry.

He is committed to helping people by making a difference in their lives. His mantra is "Changing lives one at a time, knowing that the life you change might be your own". He believes in the principle of personal sacrifice above personal gain and personal satisfaction. He also believes in personal growth and development.

On September 9, 2022, Pastor Charles was appointed as a Bishop in the recently formed Apostolic Faith Ministries International (AFMI), where he now oversees various responsibilities in the organization. We solicitor prayers and your support for our Pastor and Bishop, his family, and the entire Bethel United Ministries family as we follow in pursuit of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Soon Coming King.
